Information on Residential Infill Project Proposal

On August 11th, the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association will hear multiple viewpoints on the Residential Infill Project proposal.  Our meeting begins at 7PM at the SE Uplift Building at 3534 SE Main St.

The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability has held multiple open houses and informational sessions.  Comments from the public are accepted until August 15th via this survey.

Present at this meeting will be Residential Infill Project Stakeholder Advisory Committee (RIPSAC) members Maggie McGann and Michael Molinaro.  Also present will be representatives from Portland for Everyone and United Neighborhoods for Reform.

After hearing the various viewpoints the board will hear comments, as time permits, from attendees and then deliberate on whether to submit testimony on the topic.

The board may choose to send no comment, endorse the proposal, endorse the Portland for Everyone proposal, endorse the minority report, oppose the proposal, or send a custom recommendation.   A summary of the various positions is available here for convenience.

Regardless of the outcome of this meeting, neighbors are encouraged to learn about the project and submit the Residential Infill Project survey before August 15th.

 

SNA Board “Retreat” – Special Board Meeting

The Sunnyside Neighborhood Association Board will meet on Tuesday  June 7, 2016 from 7-9PM at “The Roost” in the Sunnyside Community House at 3520 SE Yamhill St.

This meeting is the annual “board retreat” where the 2016-17 board will discuss priorities and assignment of duties and executive positions.  No votes on executive positions, committee chairs, or representatives will be taken at this meeting.
