Hello Sunnyside,
The upcoming Land Use and Transportation meeting, May 13th at 7:30PM (at Southeast Uplift) is one you might want to put on your calendar.
Developers for two proposed projects, one at 2808 SE Belmont St. and the other at 700 SE Cesar Chavez Blvd. have requested to meet with the neighbors about their plans.
David Mullens of Urban Development Group is proposing a 3 story project on SE Cesar Chavez which will include on-site parking. Details, as reported by the Oregonian, call for 108 units (16 Studio, 74 One Bedroom, and 18 Two Bedroom units) and 40 on site parking spaces.
Urban Visions plans to demolish the existing residential structure at 2808 SE Belmont St. and divide the lot into 4 separate lots with single family residences on each new lot.
Currently these are the only items on the agenda and each developer will be given up to 25 minutes to present and answer questions.
