The City’s Comprehensive Plan update underway will result in changes to the location and type of residential and commercial uses in our neighborhood, especially along the corridors. The City has extended its deadline for public comment from early November to March 2015. Sunnyside’s Land Use & Transportation Committee meeting on Monday November 10th at 7:30 pm in the SE Uplift building (3534 SE Main St) will continue this discussion to inform the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association Board’s recommendations. There will also be a presentation from another neighborhood group about house demolitions and replacements.
