The SNA Community Safety & Livability Committee is now known as the SNA Community Care Committee–SNACC!

Bring a snack to SNACC and join us to talk with Andy Miller, Executive Director of Human Solutions. Human Solutions is a nonprofit corporation that provides affordable housing, employment development and safety net services to ensure that low-income families have the tools and resources they need to build a pathway out of poverty and homelessness.

Volunteer Opportunity: Cleanup Crew

Members of the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association are actively engaged in trash pickup and other cleanup activities throughout the neighborhood.

Volunteers can participate in a number of ways including from walking a prescribed route and picking up small litter and debris through the Adopt One Block initiative to assisting with bagging and hauling large piles of abandoned or discarded waste.  Equipment can be provided by Adopt One Block or the SNA depending on the activity.
